Plant-based rather than chemical: free from synthetic insecticides, free from harmful chemicals. This coat care spray for cats relies on the natural repellent effect of plant-based oils and extracts. 150 ml pump spray: long-lasting, easy to use and with controlled dosing. With regular use, the pump spray lasts several months, making tick protection for cats a practical part of everyday life.
How it works
The Plant-Based Formula: Thiamine, Manuka Oil, Geraniol and More
The effectiveness of FlyBlock for Cats is based on a combination of ten active plant-based ingredients that complement each other in their repellent action. FlyBlock uses a sophisticated formula with multiple mechanisms of action rather than relying on a single active ingredient.
Thiamine (vitamin B1) is at the heart of the formula. This formulation with added natural thiamine is one of the unique features of NutraVital® FlyBlock. Thiamine alters the cat's natural scent in a way that is repellent to blood-sucking parasites but imperceptible to humans. Thiamine is a naturally occurring vitamin and is generally well tolerated.
Manuka oil is extracted from the South Sea myrtle (Leptospermum scoparium) and contains triketones with a strong repellent effect on insects. In pet care, manuka oil is used as a highly effective plant-based ingredient because it can enhance the repellent action of other ingredients in the formula.
Geraniol acts as a deterrent to pests and is one of the best-known plant-based active ingredients in natural insect protection. Combined with eugenol (from clove bud oil), linalool and citrus extract, it creates a formula with a broad spectrum of action.
This combination of plant-based ingredients maintains its biological effectiveness when applied correctly.

Application guide
How to Apply the Spray to Your Cat Correctly
Spring and summer (active parasite season): spray onto your cat's entire coat every two to three days, including against the direction of the fur. Pay particular attention to the belly, legs, back and neck area.
Year-round (basic protection): reapply every seven to fourteen days.
In the case of an active infestation: apply immediately. Spray the coat thoroughly and treat the environment (bedding, carpets, transport crate) as well. Repeat every two to three days for the first few days.
Alternative application: spray a few pumps onto the palm of your hand or a cloth and rub evenly into your cat's coat and skin. This method is particularly suitable for animals that do not like being sprayed directly.
After bathing: reapply.
Before use: shake the bottle well.
Environment: for better hygiene at home, also apply to carpets, transport crates and bedding.
Storage: protect from direct sunlight.

Ticks and Fleas in Cats: Why Natural Protection Is the Better Choice
Cats are exposed to pests all year round. Outdoor cats in particular, moving through gardens, grass and bushes, regularly come into contact with ticks and fleas. But indoor cats are not automatically protected either: fleas can enter the home on clothing and shoes, and ear mites are transmitted from animal to animal. More and more pet owners are therefore looking for a natural spray against insects that reliably protects their cat.
Choosing the right tick protection for your cat is a fundamental decision. Chemical spot-on treatments apply synthetic insecticides to the coat and skin. If you want to protect your pet from parasites, you do not want to cause harm in the process. Parasite prevention for cats is possible without harmful chemicals.
Natural flea protection for cats does not have to be less effective. The effectiveness of plant-based sprays depends on the composition and the regularity of application. The combination of ingredients is key: a single plant-based active ingredient such as geraniol on its own often does not cover the full spectrum. Products that combine multiple extracts and oils achieve a broader repellent effect. A natural tick spray for cats is most effective when used consistently and regularly.
As a Natural Tick Treatment for Cats: Prevention Rather Than Reaction
Ticks can be unpleasant for cats, especially during heavy infestations. Effective tick protection for cats therefore focuses on prevention: the goal is to stop parasites from biting in the first place. An anti-tick spray for cats such as FlyBlock uses the repellent action of natural oils and extracts to keep ticks away before they can attach to the skin or coat. A spray that works as a tick treatment for cats by repelling rather than killing. Ticks that have already attached should be removed with a tick remover.
The basic principle of natural tick sprays: plant-based ingredients such as essential oils can mask the cat's body scent so that ticks no longer recognise it as a suitable host. A natural tick spray for cats works on the level of repelling. In FlyBlock, this role is primarily taken on by thiamine (vitamin B1), which specifically alters the cat's natural scent. Important: the protection needs to be reapplied regularly, as the plant-based oils naturally dissipate. During the active tick season from spring to autumn, application every two to three days is recommended.
Year-round tick prevention is recommended by experts, as ticks have adapted well to central European climate conditions and can also be active during mild winters. A consistently applied tick protection spray therefore offers your cat not just seasonal but ongoing basic protection.
As a Flea Spray for Cats: Spot Fleas, Act, Prevent
Flea infestations are one of the most common pest problems in cats. A single flea lays up to 50 eggs per day, which fall into the cat's surroundings: bedding, carpets, upholstered furniture. Within a few weeks, a single contact can spread throughout the entire home.
If you are looking for a flea spray for your cat and your home, you need a product that works on both levels: on the animal and in the environment. FlyBlock can be used immediately, without any waiting period or preparation.
FlyBlock can be applied as an anti-flea spray directly onto the cat's coat and skin, and at the same time sprayed onto bedding, carpets and transport crates. A flea treatment spray for cats that covers both animal and environment in one step. In the case of an active infestation, application every two to three days is recommended, with bedding and textiles treated additionally. The spray can also be applied preventively to resting spots. A flea spray for your cat and your home in one product.
Against Mite Infestations in Cats: Ear Mites, Harvest Mites and More
Mites are among the pests that are particularly often overlooked in cats. Symptoms such as frequent head shaking, scratching at the ears, flaky skin or skin irritation are not always recognised straight away.
Ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) are widespread in cats, especially in young animals and in multi-cat households. They settle in the ear canal and cause intense itching. A mite spray for cats can help with prevention by repelling these pests before they become established. If there is already a heavy infestation in the ears, examination and treatment by a vet is recommended.
Harvest mites (Neotrombicula autumnalis) are most common in late summer and autumn. Their larvae target thin-skinned areas on the paws, ears and belly. A mite spray for cats, applied before going outdoors, can help reduce contact with the larvae.

Chemical sprays rely on synthetic insecticides that kill pests. FlyBlock is a natural anti-parasite spray made from purely plant-based ingredients that keeps pests away through the repellent effect of plant-based oils.
Application needs to be more frequent than with chemical products (every two to three days rather than once a month), but the spray is free from synthetic ingredients and is generally well tolerated by cats.
