There are three options: spray directly into the mouth (if your pet tolerates it), spray onto a plate and let them lick it, or spray onto treats, toys or cat fur. The last method works particularly well for cats, because they groom their fur regularly and naturally absorb the probiotic active ingredients through licking. For optimal results, repeat daily.
Does the dental spray help with bad breath in my cat?
The dental spray tackles the cause of bad breath, not the symptom. The lactic acid bacteria and yeasts support the bacterial balance of the oral flora. Harmful bacteria responsible for unpleasant odours are naturally suppressed. With regular use, many pet owners report a noticeable improvement. If bad breath appears suddenly or is very strong, we also recommend a vet check.
Is the dental spray suitable for kittens?
Yes. The product contains exclusively natural ingredients and works gently, making it suitable for young cats of every size. Starting dental care early supports your cat's long-term dental health.
My cat won't let me touch its mouth at all. Does the spray still work?
That's exactly what the alternative application methods are for. The dental spray can be sprayed onto a plate, onto toys or directly onto your cat's fur. The probiotic solution reaches the mouth through licking, without any direct mouth contact. Many cat owners find that the fur method is the easiest to use in everyday life.
Can the spray be used continuously?
Yes. The dental spray is designed for daily, continuous use. Dental care for cats and dogs works best as a fixed routine, not as a one-off measure. The natural ingredients allow long-term use without concern.
Is there a variant specially developed for dogs?
This product is particularly suitable for multi-pet households. If you're looking specifically for a dog-only variant with an extended organic herbal formula, the NutraVital® Nature Dental Formula for Dogs has been specially developed for this purpose.
Does the dental spray have side effects?
When used as directed, no side effects are known. The formula is based on natural ingredients: water, cane sugar molasses, lactose and fermented organic herbal extract with lactic acid bacteria and yeasts. If your pet has known intolerances to any of the ingredients or is undergoing veterinary treatment, we recommend consulting your vet.
How do I know if my cat's bad breath needs a vet check?
Not all bad breath has its origin in the teeth. If the smell appears suddenly or smells unusually foul, sweet or like ammonia, stomach problems, food intolerances or other conditions may be involved. Similarly, heavily reddened or bleeding gums, swelling in the mouth, refusing food or noticeably one-sided chewing are all reasons to visit your vet. The dental spray supports daily dental care and protection of tooth enamel and gums, but doesn't replace a veterinary examination for serious symptoms.

NutraVital® Biotic for Dogs
What exactly is NutraVital® Biotic?
It is a pre- and probiotic complementary feed for dogs in powder form. It contains three living bacterial strains that help build up the gut flora and strengthen the immune system from within.
How long does it take for probiotics to work?
For acute digestive problems, stool consistency can improve within the first week. For long-term gut flora support, we recommend regular use over several weeks.
Will my dog actually eat the powder?
Yes. NutraVital® Biotic is tasty and well tolerated. Simply sprinkle the powder over your dog's usual food, whether dry food, wet food, or raw.
Can I give NutraVital® Biotic after a course of antibiotics?
Yes, this is one of the most common uses. Antibiotics deplete beneficial gut bacteria alongside the harmful ones. Probiotics support the rebuilding of the gut flora during and after treatment.
Is the product suitable for puppies?
Yes. NutraVital® Biotic is suitable for all breeds at every age, including puppies, and is particularly helpful during dietary transitions.
Is it also suitable for dogs with allergies?
Yes. Thanks to the hydrolysed protein, the powder is suitable for allergy-prone dogs too. The protein structures are broken down small enough that the immune system cannot identify them as an allergen.
Can I give NutraVital® Biotic long-term?
Yes. The product is designed for regular, ongoing use. Dogs with a sensitive digestive system in particular benefit from continuous daily use.
How should I store NutraVital® Biotic?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at room temperature, with the lid firmly closed.
NutraVital® Biotic for Large Dogs
Is the XL tin only worth it for large dogs?
Not at all. The XL tin is also a smart choice for smaller dogs if you plan to use NutraVital® Biotic on an ongoing basis or simply want to reorder less often. For a short course with a small dog, the 40 g monthly tin may be perfectly sufficient.
What's the difference between the 40 g and the 160 g tin?
The formula is identical. The XL value tin contains four times the quantity (160 g instead of 40 g) and works out cheaper than buying four individual 40 g tins. The measuring spoon is also larger: 7.5 g rather than 0.75 g.
How long does the 160 g XL value tin last?
It depends on your dog's body weight. For a 20 kg dog (3 g per day), the tin lasts around 53 days; for a 40 kg dog (6 g per day), around 26 days. For a medium-sized dog of 10 to 15 kg, one XL tin works out to roughly four months of supply.
How many measuring spoons does my dog need per day?
How should I store the tin once it's open?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at room temperature. Make sure to close the tin firmly after each use.
Is it also suitable for dogs with allergies?
Yes. Thanks to the hydrolysed protein, the powder is suitable for allergy-prone dogs too. The protein structures are broken down small enough that the immune system cannot identify them as an allergen.
What if my dog won't eat the powder?
NutraVital® Biotic is tasty and accepted well by most dogs. If yours is hesitant at first, try mixing the daily dose into a small amount of wet food.
NutraVital® Nature Anti-Parasite Formula
Is the formula suitable for both dogs and cats?
Yes. The formula is designed for use on both species. One bottle for dogs and cats, ideal for multi-pet households.
Is the application different for dogs and cats?
The application is the same for both: spray every two to three days, focusing on the belly, legs and neck area, avoiding the face. For animals that do not like being sprayed, indirect application via your hand or a cloth works just as well.
Which pests does the spray repel?
The Nature formula can repel ticks, fleas and mites.
Can I use the formula for just one pet?
Yes. The bottle is not limited to multi-pet households. Owners with just one dog or just one cat can use the formula as well.
Is the Nature formula also suitable for puppies and young animals?
For very young or weakened animals, we recommend consulting a vet beforehand. The same applies if your pet has known allergies to any of the ingredients.
NutraVital® Care Skin & Coat Spray
What is the coat care spray suitable for?
With its probiotic active ingredients, the spray is suitable for regular coat care in dogs and cats. It delivers a silky shine, makes combing out easier and can help care for sensitive areas. Suitable for all breeds, including sensitive pets.
How do I apply the skin care spray?
Spray generously onto your pet's coat, massage in or brush through. For a dull coat, spray onto the brush and comb through. Shake well before use.
Is the spray suitable for sensitive dogs and cats?
Yes. Dogs and cats with sensitive skin benefit from its gentle formula, which is free from synthetic additives. If your pet has known allergies, we recommend consulting your vet.
What does "probiotic" mean in a coat care spray?
The spray contains living microorganisms: lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria and yeasts. These help create an environment in which your pet's natural skin flora can thrive.
How often can the spray be used?
The spray is suitable for daily use and is well tolerated by dogs and cats, including sensitive pets.
How long does the coat care spray keep?
Use within 6 months of opening. Store at room temperature, away from sunlight.
NutraVital® Care Wound Spray
When does NutraVital® Care Wound Spray help dogs and cats?
The spray is suitable for care of minor wounds, grazes and irritated skin. It complements veterinary treatment but does not replace it.
How often should the wound spray be applied?
Apply several times daily directly onto the affected area as needed. Shake well before use. For heavier soiling, repeat application until the skin is clean.
Is the wound spray suitable for sensitive dogs and cats?
Yes. The gentle formula and liquid, non-greasy texture are kind even to anxious dogs and sensitive cats. It won't cause additional discomfort in the wound area. Use with caution near mucous membranes.
What does "probiotic" mean in a wound spray?
The spray contains living microorganisms: lactic acid bacteria and yeasts from fermented organic herbal extract. These help create an environment in the wound area where the skin can regenerate naturally.
How does the wound spray support cleansing and wound care?
A clean wound is the foundation of good healing. The spray gently removes dirt, dead cells and residue from the skin, whilst caring for and supporting the wound area at the same time.
When should I also consult a vet?
For deeper, larger or already infected wounds, we recommend consulting your vet. If a wound hasn't improved within a few days, or if signs of severe inflammation appear, a vet should also take a look.
NutraVital® FlyBlock for Dogs 100 ml
Does FlyBlock also work as a mite spray?
Yes. The plant-based active formula with geraniol, manuka oil and other ingredients can help prevent grass mites and other mite types. FlyBlock offers mite and tick protection in one product. In the case of heavy infestation, we recommend consulting your vet.
Can I use FlyBlock in the home?
Yes. FlyBlock works not only on the coat but also as an environmental spray. Sleeping areas, carpets, kennels and transport boxes can be sprayed directly. If you're looking for a flea spray for both your dog and your home, FlyBlock lets you treat both in one step.
How does FlyBlock differ from chemical parasite sprays?
Chemical sprays are based on synthetic insecticides. NutraVital® FlyBlock is a natural anti-parasitic spray with a plant-based formula that keeps pests away through the effect of plant oils. It does need to be applied more regularly, but the spray contains no synthetic ingredients.
How often do I need to use FlyBlock?
During the active season, apply to the coat every 2 to 3 days. Year-round, refresh every 7 to 14 days as a baseline protection. Reapply after bathing. A refresh is also recommended after long walks in grass.
Is FlyBlock suitable for every dog?
FlyBlock is suitable for all breeds and ages, including young dogs with no waiting period. Dogs with sensitive skin benefit from the plant-based formula. If your dog has known allergies to any of the ingredients, consult your vet before first use.
NutraVital® FlyBlock for Dogs 400 ml
Is the formula identical to the 100 ml variant?
Yes. Both bottles contain the same plant-based formula with ten active ingredients. Efficacy, application and active ingredient profile are unchanged.
How long does a 400 ml bottle last?
How long it lasts depends on your dog's size, how often you apply it and whether you treat only your dog or the environment as well. With regular use, the XXL bottle covers an entire season or more.
Which dogs is the 400 ml bottle suitable for?
Like the 100 ml variant, FlyBlock XXL is suitable for all dog breeds and ages, including young dogs. If your dog has known allergies to any of the ingredients, consult your vet beforehand.
NutraVital® Nature Joint Formula
How does the Joint Formula support my dog?
The five-fold formula contains glucosamine for cartilage building, MSM for ligaments and tendons, chondroitin sulphate to counter cartilage loss, collagen for joint suppleness and hyaluronic acid for smooth movement. Supplemented by rosehip powder with anti-inflammatory properties. Together, these five ingredients provide comprehensive joint support.
Does the Joint Formula help with osteoarthritis?
In osteoarthritis, cartilage breaks down faster than it is renewed. Scientific studies suggest that supplementing with glucosamine and chondroitin can support mobility. The joint formula specifically supports cartilage building (glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate) and joint lubrication (hyaluronic acid). It does not replace veterinary treatment but can support the musculoskeletal system as a daily supplement. Talk to your vet to find the right combination and dosage for your dog.
Is the Joint Formula also suitable for puppies?
Yes. In large breeds, the product can be used from puppyhood onwards. Large breeds are predisposed to HD and ED. Early joint support can have a preventative effect before problems develop. This is particularly beneficial for young dogs of large breeds.
How long should I give the product?
We recommend daily, continuous use. Your dog's joints are under stress every day. A continuous supply of the right nutrients supports cartilage, ligaments and the entire musculoskeletal system over the long term. In our experience, initial improvements typically appear after about two to three months of continuous feeding. Give your dog and the formula that time.
Which dog breeds benefit most?
All breeds and ages benefit. Joint supplements are particularly relevant for large breeds such as the Great Dane, Labrador, Golden Retriever and German Shepherd, which are more prone to osteoarthritis, HD and other joint conditions. But active, sporty dogs and seniors with age-related wear also benefit.
What sets this product apart from other joint supplements?
Most joint supplements for dogs focus on individual ingredients or combinations of two to three. The NutraVital® Nature Joint Formula combines five ingredients plus rosehip powder in one product. Added to that is the powder format, rather than tablets or capsules.
What should a joint supplement for dogs contain?
A complementary feed for your dog's joints should cover the key building blocks for cartilage and connective tissue: glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate for cartilage, MSM for ligaments and tendons, collagen for suppleness, hyaluronic acid for joint lubrication. The NutraVital® Nature Joint Formula combines all five in one powder.
NutraVital® Nature Relax Formula
How does the Relax Formula support my dog's nervous system?
The formula provides important nutrients for nerves and emotional balance: B vitamins and magnesium from hemp seeds, the amino acid tryptophan from pumpkin seeds as a serotonin precursor, plant-based proteins from pea protein and traditionally calming valerian root. Supplemented with L-tryptophan as an additive. Together, these ingredients support the nervous system on multiple levels.
Is the Relax Formula a calming product for dogs without risk of dependency?
Yes. The Relax Formula contains exclusively natural, plant-based ingredients and no synthetic additives. There is no habituation effect and no risk of dependency, making it suitable for permanent use.
Does the Relax Formula have side effects?
No side effects are known at the correct dosage. The formula is based on natural, plant-based ingredients that are well tolerated. During pregnancy, lactation, with known allergies to any of the ingredients, or alongside ongoing medication, we recommend consulting your vet before starting. Important: if your dog shows sudden behavioural changes, such as new fearfulness, unusual aggression or severe restlessness without an obvious cause, a supplement is not a substitute for veterinary investigation. In such cases, have health-related causes ruled out first.
Can you tell from behaviour that the Relax Formula is working?
Many owners report visible changes after regular use: their dog seems more balanced, handles stressful situations more calmly, and fearfulness decreases. The effect doesn't set in abruptly but develops over days and weeks. For acute occasions, start a few days in advance.
When should I start giving the Relax Formula?
For predictable stress situations (New Year's Eve, holiday travel, vet appointments), ideally start a few days beforehand. This gives the body time to absorb the nutrients. For dogs with a naturally nervous temperament or frequent stress, we recommend daily, continuous use as part of the feeding routine. Many owners initially look for a quick fix, but the Relax Formula works best when used consistently, not just in emergencies.
Can I give the Relax Formula long-term?
Yes. The Relax Formula is designed for daily, long-term use. Thanks to the purely natural ingredients and absence of dependency risk, it can be used as a permanent calming supplement. Many owners combine acute support for known events with regular daily use.
Which dogs is the Relax Formula suitable for?
All breeds and every age. The formula is particularly suited to sensitive, anxious or fearful dogs, rescue dogs with a difficult history, seniors with age-related anxiety and dogs with known stress triggers such as New Year's Eve, thunderstorms or car journeys. It can also help with pronounced nervousness or as part of training and settling-in. For puppies, we recommend consulting your vet before starting.
What sets the Relax Formula apart from other calming products?
Most products in this category focus on a single ingredient or pure herbal blends. The NutraVital® Nature Relax Formula combines four plant-based ingredients plus L-tryptophan in one product. Added to that: powder format rather than tablets or drops, no risk of dependency thanks to the purely natural formula, and dual purpose ... both acute and preventative in one product. Other products in this category usually cover only one of these two uses.
Nerven stärken: Nahrungsergänzung für Ihren Hund

NutraVital® Biotic for Cats
How do probiotics work in cats?
Probiotics are live microorganisms that actively support your cat's gut microbiota. This product contains two specifically selected cultures that promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria and suppress unwanted pathogens. At the same time, stable digestion can improve the absorption of minerals and nutrients.
Probiotics for diarrhoea: what helps my cat?
This product specifically supports gut recovery in cats with two bacterial cultures and triple prebiotic action from inulin, FOS and MOS. This can stabilise and regulate digestion. For persistent diarrhoea, we also recommend consulting your vet.
Can I give probiotics after antibiotic treatment?
Yes. A probiotic complementary feed is particularly beneficial after antibiotic treatment. Probiotics can support the recovery of weakened gut colonisation. We recommend starting after the course of treatment ends, or, in consultation with your vet, feeding it alongside the medication.
How do I know if my cat's gut microbiota is disrupted?
Typical signs include recurrent diarrhoea, loose or variable stools, bloating, loss of appetite, a dull or lacklustre coat, or skin problems. Frequent vomiting without an apparent cause can also point to disrupted gut microbiota. If your cat shows these symptoms after antibiotic treatment, a dietary change or a stressful period, the balance of gut bacteria may have been upset. For persistent symptoms, we recommend having your vet investigate the cause.
How long should I give NutraVital® Biotic?
We recommend continuous, regular use. Unlike short-term supplements, NutraVital® Biotic achieves the best results with ongoing daily feeding. Long-term use can also be beneficial as a preventative measure.
From what age can I give probiotics to kittens?
Is NutraVital® Biotic suitable for allergy-prone cats?
Yes. NutraVital® Biotic contains hydrolysed poultry liver as a palatant. Through hydrolysis, the proteins are broken down so extensively that they are usually no longer recognised as allergens by the cat's immune system. So your sensitive cat benefits from probiotic support without the risk of triggering allergies. 100% natural. For greater wellbeing.
Can probiotics help with constipation in cats?
Constipation in cats can be linked to a disrupted gut microbiota, among other things. Probiotics and prebiotics support natural gut function, and inulin and FOS promote bowel movement as fibres. For persistent constipation, a vet should investigate the cause.
Can I give NutraVital® Biotic alongside medications?
Generally, yes. With antibiotics, we recommend staggering the probiotic so it's not given in the same meal, to avoid directly affecting the bacterial cultures. Alternatively, you can start feeding it after the course of antibiotics ends. If you're unsure, have a quick word with your vet.
My cat won't eat the powder. What can I do?
NutraVital® Biotic is accepted without problems by most cats, because the hydrolysed poultry liver acts as a natural palatant. If your cat is still sceptical, try mixing the powder into wet food, where it dissolves better and the taste blends into the meal. With dry food, you can lightly dampen the kibble first so the powder sticks. If needed, start with a smaller amount and gradually increase to the full dosage.
NutraVital® Nature Dental-Formula Spray
How does the dental care spray support my dog's dental health?
The spray contains probiotic microorganisms (lactic acid bacteria and yeasts) that support the natural balance of oral flora. They help displace harmful bacteria responsible for plaque and bad breath. Fermented organic herbs with mint and rosemary additionally provide fresh breath and support oral care in dogs. With regular use, the dental spray can help reduce calcium deposits on the teeth.
Can a dental spray really reduce tartar in dogs?
With regular use, the spray can help prevent tartar. The probiotic microorganisms counteract the settlement of bacteria responsible for plaque formation. Since dental plaque is the precursor to tartar, a probiotic dental spray works exactly at this point. The product cannot remove already mineralised tartar. For this, professional tartar removal or cleaning by a vet is necessary.
How do I apply the dental spray for dogs?
Spray twice daily carefully into your dog's mouth. Alternatively, the spray can be sprayed onto a plate or toy. For more details, see Application Recommendation.
Does the dental spray also work for dogs that won't put up with anything?
That is exactly what the alternative method is for: simply spray onto a plate or toy and let the dog lick it off. This way the probiotic solution reaches the mouth without you having to handle your dog's mouth or apply the sprayer directly. This makes the dental spray usable even for particularly sceptical dogs.
Is the dental spray also suitable for puppies?
Yes. The product contains exclusively natural ingredients and cleanses gently. This makes the spray also suitable for puppies. Starting dental care in dogs early makes sense: approximately 80% of dogs develop dental problems from age three onwards. Those who lay the foundation in young years maintain their dog's dental health in the long term.
Which dogs is the dental spray suitable for?
For dogs of every breed, size and age. The product is equally suitable for puppies, adult dogs and seniors. The natural ingredients make the dental care spray compatible for dogs of every age. Whether small Chihuahua or large German Shepherd: the dental spray fits into every lifestyle.
Does the dental spray have side effects?
No side effects are known with proper use. The formula is based on natural ingredients: probiotic microorganisms, fermented organic herbs, water, sugar cane molasses and organic lactose. If your dog has known allergies to any of the ingredients or is currently undergoing veterinary treatment, we recommend consulting your vet. Important: a dental spray is no substitute for veterinary examination. If your dog develops sudden severe bad breath or visible changes such as heavy redness, swelling or bleeding, consult a vet.
What distinguishes this product from other dental sprays for dogs?
Many tooth sprays on the market rely exclusively on herbs, mint or chlorhexidine without a probiotic component. The NutraVital® Nature Dental-Formula Spray, on the other hand, combines two approaches: probiotic microorganisms that actively stabilise oral flora and fermented organic herbs with peppermint that provide fresh breath. Additionally, the product offers a double option: spray directly or apply alternatively. Customer reviews show that it is precisely this flexibility in handling that makes the difference in everyday life with your dog.
How quickly does the dental spray work against bad breath in dogs?
Many customers notice an improvement in bad breath within the first few days with regular use. The peppermint and other fermented organic herbs directly provide fresher breath, whilst probiotic microorganisms stabilise oral flora in the medium term. For the preventative effect against tartar, consistent daily use over a longer period is crucial.
Can I use the dental spray long-term for my dog?
Yes, the dental spray is designed for daily, long-term use. Dental care in dogs works best as a fixed routine, not as a one-off measure. The natural ingredients allow long-term use without concerns. Those who spray regularly maintain their dog's dental health sustainably.
Does the dental spray replace toothbrushing in dogs?
The dental spray is designed as a standalone solution that works without a toothbrush. Those who additionally brush their dog's teeth can use the dental spray as a supplement. For dog owners for whom toothbrushing does not work in everyday life, whether due to dog resistance or time constraints, the dental spray as a product offers a practical alternative to mechanical tooth cleaning.
How do I know whether my dog's bad breath needs a vet?
Not all bad breath has its cause in the teeth. If the odour appears suddenly, smells unusually putrid, sweet or like ammonia, it could also be stomach problems, food intolerances, diabetes or kidney disease. Similarly, heavily reddened or bleeding gums, swelling in the mouth, food refusal or conspicuous one-sided chewing are reasons for a vet visit. A dental spray for dogs supports daily dental care and oral hygiene but does not replace veterinary diagnosis for serious symptoms. When in doubt: Ask a vet. Better be safe than sorry.
NutraVital® Biotic for Horses
How do probiotics work in horses?
Probiotics are live microorganisms that actively support your horse's gut microbiota. The live yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae in NutraVital® Biotic works directly in the gastrointestinal tract: it can improve crude fibre digestibility, promote the growth of healthy gut bacteria and contribute to gut stabilisation. This can lead to improved digestion and a stable microbiome.
Can I give my horse probiotics after antibiotic treatment?
Yes. The gut microbiota is often out of balance after antibiotic treatment, because antibiotics do not distinguish between beneficial and harmful bacteria. Targeted support with probiotics can help stabilise the gut environment. We recommend starting after the course of antibiotics ends, or, in consultation with your vet, feeding it alongside the treatment.
Is NutraVital® Biotic suitable for competition horses?
Yes. NutraVital® Biotic is not relevant to doping lists. Unlike products with herbal content over 3% or tryptophan, no withdrawal period is required before competitions. You can feed the product continuously, even directly before and during competitions.
How long should I feed NutraVital® Biotic?
We recommend continuous, regular use. Unlike many comparable products designed as 3 to 4 week courses, NutraVital® Biotic achieves the best results with continuous feeding. This keeps your horse's gut microbiota permanently stable.
How do I dose NutraVital® Biotic correctly?
Give 1 measuring spoon (9 g) per 300 kg body weight, added to feed. For a 600 kg horse, that's 2 measuring spoons daily. If needed, you can increase the dosage by a maximum of 1 measuring spoon. The powder is water-soluble and can also be dissolved in water.
Can I give NutraVital® Biotic during feed changes and spring grazing?
Yes. Feed changes and spring grazing are typical situations where shifts in nutrition put strain on the gut microbiota. NutraVital® Biotic can stabilise the gut microbiota during this transition phase and contribute to balanced digestion.
What ingredients does NutraVital® Biotic contain?
The powder contains dextrose, inulin and maize starch as a base, plus live yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae (CBS 493.94/4a1704, 7.5×10¹¹ CFU/kg) as a digestibility-enhancing additive. No herbal mixtures, no artificial flavours, no hidden additives.
Do I need to observe a withdrawal period before a competition?
No. NutraVital® Biotic contains neither herbal content over 3% nor tryptophan and is therefore not relevant to doping lists. No withdrawal period is required. You can feed the product without interruption.
NutraVital® FlyBlock for Cats
Does FlyBlock also work as a mite spray for cats?
Yes. FlyBlock is effective against six types of pest, including mites. The plant-based formula with geraniol, manuka oil and other ingredients is designed for a broad spectrum of action. The spray can be used preventively. If there is already a heavy infestation, we recommend having this checked by a vet as well.
Can I also use FlyBlock indoors?
Yes. FlyBlock works not only on the coat but also as an environment spray. Bedding, carpets and transport crates can be sprayed directly. This is particularly important with fleas: a single flea lays up to 50 eggs per day, which end up in textiles and on floors. If you are looking for a flea spray for your cat and your home, FlyBlock lets you treat both the animal and the environment in one step.
Is the spray also effective against ear mites in cats?
FlyBlock has a repellent effect and can help prevent ear mites from becoming established in the first place. As a preventive spray against ear mites in cats, it can be applied to the head and ear area. Please do not spray directly into the ear canal. Instead, spray onto your hand and gently rub into the skin and fur. If there is already a heavy ear mite infestation, veterinary treatment is recommended.
Can I use FlyBlock against harvest mites on my cat?
Yes. Harvest mites are most common in late summer and autumn and target thin-skinned areas on the paws, belly and ears. FlyBlock can be applied as a harvest mite spray for cats before going outdoors to reduce contact with the larvae. Pay particular attention to the most vulnerable areas: belly, legs and paws.
How does FlyBlock differ from chemical parasite sprays?
Chemical sprays rely on synthetic insecticides that kill pests. FlyBlock is a natural anti-parasite spray made from purely plant-based ingredients that keeps pests away through the repellent effect of plant-based oils.
Application needs to be more frequent than with chemical products (every two to three days rather than once a month), but the spray is free from synthetic ingredients and is generally well tolerated by cats.
How often do I need to apply FlyBlock?
During the active season (spring and summer): spray onto the coat every two to three days. Year-round as basic protection: reapply every seven to fourteen days. After bathing, the application should be renewed.
Does the spray leave greasy residue?
No. Unlike oil-based home remedies, FlyBlock does not leave greasy residue on coat, furniture or textiles. Your cat can lie on the sofa, bed or cushions as normal after application. Direct contact with people after spraying is also perfectly safe.
NutraVital® Nature Digestive Formula
What exactly is NutraVital® Nature Digestive Formula?
It is a complementary feed for dogs in powder form, containing three plant-based active ingredients (chamomile, carrot, dandelion), prebiotic plant fibres and a probiotic strain. It supports your dog's digestion and strengthens the immune system.
When should I use Nature Digestive Formula?
NutraVital® Nature Digestive Formula is suitable for use during worming treatments, courses of antibiotics, gastrointestinal infections, parasitic infections such as Giardia, and for stress-related or allergy-associated digestive problems.
Will my dog actually eat the powder?
NutraVital® Nature has been developed with natural ingredients and a taste dogs enjoy. Simply mix the powder into your dog's usual food once a day.
Can I combine Nature Digestive Formula with raw feeding (BARF)?
Yes. Simply mix the powder into your dog's usual portion once a day, whether that's dry food, wet food, or raw.
How should I store the powder?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, at room temperature, with the lid firmly closed.
